GalleryRipper Program Settings

In this section of the Help Pages, the customized setting options of GalleryRipper are explained.

Tab [Download options]



[Maximum load time per link in seconds]:
If this maximum time limit is exceeded, GalleryRipper will stop the connection and download the next link, if applicable.


[Maximum number of parallel connections]:
How many connections should GalleryRipper establish at one time to the server?
The number of parallel connections should be adjusted depending on the server speed. If the server is slow, there is no advantage to using multiple connections at the same time.


[Minimum image size in KB]:
What is the minimum size for the downloaded image in KB?
If the image is smaller than the defined size, the image will be deleted. To only save desired images, this number should be adjusted based on user needs.


[Maximum image size in KB]:
What is the maximum size in kB for an image?
If the image is larger than the defined limit, the image will be deleted. To only save desired images, this number should be adjusted based on user needs.


[Minimum thumbnail height in pixels]:
What is the minimum height in pixels for an thumbnail?
If the height of the image on the loaded website is smaller than this limit, the image link will not be selected during the search of the website and thus cannot be downloaded.


[Minimum thumbnail width in pixels]:
What is the minimum width in pixels for an thumbnail?
If the width of the image on the loaded website is smaller than this limit, the image link will not be selected during the search of the website and thus cannot be downloaded.


[Minimum image height in pixels]:
What is the minimum height in pixels for an image?
If the height of an image on the loaded site is smaller than this limit, the image link will not be selected during the search of the website and thus cannot be downloaded.


[Minimum image width in pixels]:
What is the minimum width in pixels for an image?
If the width of an image on the loaded site is smaller than this limit, the image link will not be selected during the search of the website and thus cannot be downloaded.


[File extensions to download]:
Which image file extensions should be downloaded?
If an image file extension on the loaded website does not correspond with the defined extensions, the image will not be selected during the search of the website and thus cannot be downloaded.


[Show downloaded images]:
Should the images be shown after the download?
When this option is activated, an Explorer window in the root folder will be opened after every download.


[Confirm the download directory]:
Confirm the download folder before every download?
When this option is activated, the user will be asked to confirm the destination folder before every download.


[The download directory]:
Where should the images be saved?
Here, the user can indicate the folder where the downloaded images will be saved.

[Startpage]:
Which website should be loaded at the start of GalleryRipper?
The standard website for the start page is http://galleryripper.com.


[Remember last page]:
Use the last loaded website in the web browser as the start page.


[Current page]:
Use the currently loaded website in the web browser as the start page.


[Default page]:
The standard website is http://galleryripper.com


[Empty page]:
Do not load a startpage.


[Selected image style (css)]:
How should a selected image (in the navigation) be marked in the web browser?
This definition utilized in CSS.


[Hover image style (css)]:
How should the currently active image (in the navigation) be marked in the web browser?
This definition is utilized in CSS.


[Selected link style (css)]:
How should a selected link (in the navigation) be marked in the web browser?
This definition is utilized in CSS.


[Hover link style (css)]:
How should the currently active link (in the navigation) be marked in the web browser?
This definition is utilized in CSS.


[Delete temporary internet files]:
Should all temporary internet files of the currently loaded website be deleted?
GalleryRipper deletes all temporary internet files for the currently loaded website.

[Language]:
Choose your language.


[Restore default]:
Here you can reset to the standard settings of GalleryRipper.
